Yukio Miyamoto
Gradient Mesh master Yukio Miyamoto has been using and abusing Adobe Illustrator since the 80's. Yukio's artwork has appeared in a number of books, from design books to manuals. Yukio has trained thousands of people in all areas of graphics for the Mac and Win.
When I first saw these, I couldn't believe that they were photos... it just goes to show that it's not impossible to create life-like illustrations.

wow! that is quite impressive. they look so realistic. It just goes to show you can't believe everything you see. Even though it may not seem immediately obvious, I think this relates to the 'strive to become size zero' issue. If they can do this with everyday items, think what airbrushing and manipulating they are doing to celebs to make them look the 'perfect size zero'. People see these images and think this is 'normal' when in fact, these images show this is far from the truth.
