Bench

It was Wednesday afternoon when I was walking back from University. I stumbled across this little piece of 'art'. It took me by suprise as I have never noticed it before. It reads:

"at some point in this conversation you will lie"

To some extent it is true. Nobody has a conversation which is 100% truthful. It might be a white lie, it might be a slight exageration.

It strikes me because somebody has thought about this and made a point of showing it.

I thought I'd share it with you and see if you now notice the smaller things around you.

really like it, and how appropiate to be on a bench. it is true everytime you talk you are lieing but to be fair it is hard to recall everything 100% with the amount that goes on and how much we are visually bombarded in a day.

It would be interesting to see whether this statement being on the bench actually influences the conversation that people have on the bench, as they will be more aware that they or the other person might be lying.
